Gee whiz, this Hans Blöthner fellow can write!

Volkish Press strives to make accessible the lesser known books that informed our ideological antecedents , and that continue to inform our present. To that end:

Volkish scholarship [1] has determined that Gott und Volk, published anonymously, was authored by one Hans Blöthner. The little grey book so offended Christian sensibilities in the Reich that Alfred Rosenberg received numerous complaints about it. Endorsed by Robert Ley, it was made freely available to Wehrmacht soldiers until its banning in December of 1941 by Goebbels.

Our research [1] indicates that Reinhard Heydrich established the Gestapo’s Department IVB, tasked with handling religious opponents. Led by Albert Hartl (an ex-priest), it collected intelligence upon the Catholic church, a well known opponent of the National Socialist State. Hartl of course authored numerous texts under the pseudonym Anton Holzner. Volkish Press proudly offers Hitler’s Priest: The Anton Holzner Collection.

Most recently, we have made available the works of Kurt Eggers. Before dying on the Ostfront, he edited the SS newspaper Das Schwarze Korps and and served as an SS war correspondent. This collection exhibits poetry and prose covering themes that Gott und Volk explored, and more.
