Volkish Socialism

Young radical movements are always run on a shoe-string budget. If you fully commit yourself to the Volkish life you will, by necessity, live a spartan existence. This is most true for those who work for the cause ‘full-time’ but it is also true for those who keep their System jobs. One should feel that living a lavish lifestyle in this time of crisis for the Volk is shameful and irresponsible.

Men and women who have taken the leap and expelled themselves (voluntarily or involuntarily) from the Economy must be supported as much as possible by those who formally remain within it. There is no way around this. Occasional donations are helpful but to really make progress we ultimately need very large donors and a sizable mass of men and women tithing to Volkish Project and similar organizations.

In the meantime, everyone should be cutting down on frivolous expenses and financially unplugging from the Economy as much as possible. These two  principles will help guide you in this process:

Minimalism

The Volkish way is a simple life. We oppose the money-sick, consumerist life that most people lead today. Keep only what you need and get rid of the rest. Burn the fat off your life. Overcome sentimental attachments to your old things if they become a burden. Hoarding is a sign of mental illness.

You hardly ever need to purchase new things. If you need clothes, buy from thrift stores or get pass-me-downs from friends and family members. Used furniture and other household items can often be found online for free or at a 90% discount. If you are really strapped for cash, there is no shame in living out of your car for a time if that’s what is necessary.

Tribal Economics

First rule here is to never pay ‘the Man’ if you can help it. Going into massive debt means you are enslaved. I understand that it is too late for many people–especially our young generation who got swindled into taking on outrageous sums of money for college–but there is no sense in digging yourself any deeper.

You can save money by learning how to fix minor things in your home and car. We need to trashcan the bourgeois mindset of reflexively paying a stranger to help us anytime something goes wrong. If you don’t know how to fix something find a friend who does. Try not to use your credit card (I don’t even have one), and make purchases in cash as much as you can.

As our Volkish community grows we will be able to provide these services to eachother, and we will do it without the use of System money. We will trade, barter, give gifts and exchange favors with one another. As we do this, trust and fellowship will naturally grow between us. We will do all this out of necessity in the beginning, but eventually we will come to understand that this is the more rewarding way to live.
